Alcohol & Drug policy Remøy Management (Company) has zero tolerance for violations of the Alcohol and Drug Policy. The company does not accept, nor tolerate personnel being under the influence of alcohol or drugs whilst representing the Company in any way. An exception can be granted by Company Management when attending special events. To ensure that the Company meets its objectives, all personnel serving on board Company vessels and working ashore, are expected to comply with the Alcohol and Drug Policy. The following is prohibited: Dispensing, distributing, possessing, using, selling or offering to buy or sell alcohol and / or drugs whilst at work on any Company vessel or engaged on Company business. Supplying of drugs whilst on any Company vessel or engaged on Company business (Note: instances will be reported to the Police immediately). Reporting for work whilst under the influence of alcohol and / or drugs including prescription drugs. Exemptions for prescription drugs can be provided when supported with a doctor’s prescription (reported to the Captain when joining the vessel) on the understanding that the prescribed medication will not affect the person(s) ability to perform their duties safely. The Company reserves the right to undertake alcohol and drug testing on personnel following any incident or when the Company has reasonable cause to suspect that an personnel working in a managed vessel are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The Company will also undertake random alcohol and drug testing to support this policy. A breach of this Policy may lead to dismissal.
