Social media policy The purpose of this policy is to provide guidance to help all personnel to make appropriate decisions about the use of social media such as blogs, social networking websites, forums, message boards, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube etc. and/or comments on web-articles. All personnel are encouraged to use good judgement and common sense when using social media. Readers of social media sites will include customers, suppliers, competitors and colleagues. All personnel are encouraged to remind their co-workers of this policy if deemed necessary. Personnel should neither claim nor imply that they are speaking on the Company’s or Client's behalf. Internet postings should not include Company or Client logos unless permission has been given. This Social Media policy applies to all personnel involved in vessel operations. A breach of this policy may lead to disciplinary action and in serious cases termination of employment or engagement. The following items are strictly prohibited from social media content or any form of unauthorised disclosure: • Confidential information. • HSE incidents • Technical failure • Planned project activities and status • Vessels movements (current or planned) • Client data • Financial information. • Intellectual property or trade secrets
